Prior to the drinking water sampling activities, the water sat undisturbed for at least eight (8) hours. On April 29, 2021, Cyrus’ Project Manager conducted a site walk-through as a part of the sampling planning process. The walk-through included every room in the facility. During the walk-through, all water outlets were observed for abundant leaks that could impact the water stagnation time. Cyrus collected at total of 11 first draw samples, including one trip blank sample, by placing at plastic jar under the water outlet at each sample location. Then, the cold water was turned on at each outlet to collect the water sample. The sampling activities started at the source where the drinking water pipe enters the building and continued following the pipes from the water source.
